05 Jan Letter from the Headteacher
Dear Parents
Here we are again! I hope you are all well and keeping your spirits up.
After Pooles Park decided to close last Friday, I was pleased to see that the government decided to follow suit. The new strain of the virus is far more transmissible and it is important that everybody follows the rules. Please read the message from Islington Council here
During the lockdown, the government is keen that all learning is provided online. Travelling to and from school to collect paper packs would inevitably increase the transmission of the virus.
If you have a child in Years 1 to 6, work will be set on Seesaw. If you are having difficulty accessing Seesaw, the class teacher will know this by looking at your child’s profile. They will phone you to see how we can help. If you are having a problem, you should receive a call tomorrow (Wednesday). There is technical information below which may help.
In the meanwhile, as long as you have internet access, there are two excellent resources that you can freely use. These are BBC Bitesize and The Oak Academy. Please Google these or follow the links at the end of this letter.
If you have a child in Nursery or Reception, activities will be set on Tapestry as usual.
Please phone the school office if we can help in any way at all. Office hours will be 9 – 2 until the February half term.
