Children continue to learn in school from 8.45am when gates open to 3.30pm home time (3.20pm for Nursery and Reception). School continues to close at 12.30 on Friday afternoon for home learning where children practice their digital literacy skills through completing learning tasks online. Overall available learning time for children in school remains more than most local schools. We strongly believe our home learning provision is essential in maintaining the children’s computing skills and knowledge that will become increasingly important in their learning life. Friday afternoon home learning can be completed anytime before Monday so our families can be flexible about their weekend arrangements.

We offer provision in school on Friday afternoons for any children to complete the home learning that has been set for every child, if parents are working or studying. We can also offer provision for those families in exceptional circumstances. Please contact the school office for an application form if you require a place for your child.
