02 Dec December Newsletter
Dear Parents
A Big Thank You
It is nearly Christmas! We have managed almost a term without a single case of Covid-19 within the school. Nearly every other school in Islington has had cases of the virus. So we are very fortunate. Our hygiene and social distancing rules are proving to be very effective. Parents are also playing an important part. Wearing a mask and socially distancing when you are at the school is really important. Thank you for your cooperation.
If you are unable to wear a mask for medical reasons, please inform the school. We will make arrangements to hand your child over to you without having to enter the school site. Mask wearing is compulsory for anyone visiting an Islington School. This includes the playground.
Visiting the School Office
Please do visit the school office if we can help in any way. You must of course wear a mask., Only one visitor is allowed in the foyer at a time. If someone is already in the foyer, please wait outside until they are finished and have left. You will be familiar with such arrangements in small shops.
Sometimes these measures can be inconvenient, but we have a 100% record in fighting the virus! Please help us keep it this way.
Christmas
It is sad that we are not able to have a concert or any Christmas activities involving the whole school getting together. However, there will be plenty of fun for the children in school. There will be parties held in classes and bubbles and lots of decorations and music, although not choral singing. There will be a Christmas lunch for the children on Wednesday 16th December. Children will have lunch in their bubble.
End of Term
Term finishes on Friday at lunchtime for all children. There will be no after school provision.
