20 Jul Letter from the Headteacher
Dear Parents and Carers
I am writing to wish you all a happy and peaceful holiday. It has been an interesting year. It started with the continuing pandemic and ended with a record heatwave. The temperature in Finsbury Park reached 39C and the temperature inside the school was well over 40C. Thank you for all your support during these challenging times.
We are sad to say goodbye to a wonderful Year 6. Many of these pupils have been with us since Nursery. They are all ready for the next stage in their life and we look forward to them visiting us in the future.
We also say goodbye to Ms. Bye who has taught at Pooles Park for 5 years. She has taught age groups from Reception to Year 5 and hundreds of pupils have benefited from her excellent teaching. We all wish her well in her new life in Brighton.
The Autumn term begins on Tuesday 6th September. The school week will remain the same with an early finish on Fridays. I look forward to seeing you all in September.
Greg Crawford
Executive Headteacher
