Creative Arts and Humanities

Home > Curriculum  > Subjects > Creative Arts and Humanities

At Pooles Park we have recently developed the curriculum to be humanities based. Our new curriculum ensures that all learning happens within a rich and engaging History and Geography context, by which the children learn about the world they live in, the people in it and the times that have come before.

There is also an emphasis on Art and Design and Design Technology, providing stimulating experiences which offer an engaging way of understanding and responding to the world.

With central London and all it has to offer in easy reach, visits to museums, galleries, zoos, the theatre and the cinema provide a rich cultural experience for our children.

We also organise specialist workshops and projects to enhance learning. We work with quality providers such as The Shakespeare Schools Festival and British Film Institute.
